The Artiglio A2018 is Corghi’s automatic tyre changer, designed to offer an ideal balance between reliability, ease of use, and consistent performance, representing the natural evolution of the proven A2015 model. Improvements to key technical features—such as the increased maximum wheel diameter—and the introduction of a removable pedal unit further enhance ergonomics and operational speed.

Operation is fully automatic, with a pneumatically tilting, self-centring turntable capable of handling wheels up to 22”, making the Artiglio A2018 suitable for daily work on passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, and motorcycles. Corghi’s design prioritizes structural strength, smooth movements, and rim protection and tyre protection, even during repetitive operations and in the most demanding work environments.

PNEUMATICALLY TILTABLE POST

The pneumatically tilting arm support column allows quick access to the wheel and reduces set-up times.

Combined with a self-centring plate height of just 665 mm, it ensures quick and easy operations, minimising physical strain on the operator.

PNEUMATIC SELF-CENTRING DEVICE

The self-centring machine is fitted with a double pneumatic cylinder, capable of securely clamping any type of wheel rim
.
The taller cast clamps ensure a better grip from both the inside and outside, whilst the plastic guards protect the more delicate wheel rims.

 

HIGH-PERFORMANCE BREEDING STALLION

The tyre-removal unit is driven by a double-acting pneumatic cylinder, made entirely of stainless steel.
The shape and adjustment of the blade ensure maximum effectiveness and allow for easy operation on wheels up to 12” wide, preventing damage to the tyre and rim.

The wheel support is fixed and protected by a rubber buffer, for greater safety during tyre removal.

DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY TOWER

This newly designed tyre removal and fitting tool features a rear wing that makes it easier to guide the tyre onto the rim during the fitting process.

The plastic guards prevent marks on the rims and ensure the machine works effectively even on RFT, UHP and BSR tyres
, when used in conjunction with the bead press (accessory).

PNEUMATIC LOCKING OF THE ARMS

The simultaneous pneumatic locking of the horizontal arm and the vertical turret arm allows the head to be automatically positioned in the ideal working position, improving precision and repeatability.
