The AG TT 1600 A is Corghi’s automatic tyre changer developed for professionals working with truck, agricultural, and earthmoving tyres, designed to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and reliability even on large wheels up to 58”.

The integration of advanced features—such as the multi-grip chuck, the controlled-tilt bead breaker disc, and the 3-speed motor inverter—enables the machine to handle complex tasks while maintaining maximum control over operations at all times.

The design of the base frame and work area has been engineered to promote true accessibility, enhanced operator safety, and reduced operator fatigue, making the machine ideal for high-volume environments such as truck repair shops, industrial tyre centers, and fleet operations.

Features and functions

MULTI-CHUCK SPINDLE WITH MOTOR INVERTER

The system is fitted with a multi-grip spindle combined with a 3-speed inverter motor, which allows the rotation speed to be adjusted to suit the various stages of work, including a reduced speed for specific operations such as tyre sculpting.

HYDRAULIC VARIABLE-ANGLE STALLONATOR DISC

The tyre-removal disc is fully hydraulically operated and allows the correct angle to be set whilst working, making it easier to both fit and remove the tyre from the rim.

OPTIMISED WORKING GEOMETRY – OPERATIONAL PRECISION

Throughout all operational phases, the tools and the wheel remain tangent and perpendicular at all times, ensuring:

BASE WITHOUT A PLATFORM – UNOBSTRUCTED ACCESS TO THE WORK AREA

The self-supporting base, which has no platform, allows free access to the operating area, facilitating:

loading and unloading of the wheel
handling
organisation of workshop space

HYDRAULIC SELF-CENTRING UP TO 58”

The self-centring clamping system is fully hydraulic and allows operation on rims ranging from 14” to 58”, including the wider, more modern rims used in agriculture and earthmoving.

The folding clamps offer 9 direct clamping positions and allow clamping even on rims with a minimum bore of 90 mm.

MOBILE CONSOLE AND ERGONOMIC CONTROLS

The machine is fitted with a trolley-style mobile console featuring ergonomic controls and a repositionable hydraulic power unit, allowing the operator to work with greater comfort and control in any operating configuration.
