The BT100E S-BOX is the Corghi brake tester developed for modern inspection centres and technical inspection centres. Certified according to the MCTCNet 2 protocol in DIR and RETE modes, it combines efficiency, modularity, and ergonomics in a single platform designed to perform tests on passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, motorcycles, tricycles, and quadricycles.
The system takes its name from the S-BOX unit, which integrates the electrical system and data acquisition electronics, combined with the roller bench, the measurement cabinet with a control PC, and the accessories necessary to perform the tests required by regulations. The modular design allows the test stand to be configured according to the inspection centre’s needs and expanded over time with additional testing equipment.
The test stand features a monoblock steel frame and an integrated weighing system based on four high-precision load cells. The rollers are coated with a special material that provides a high coefficient of friction, and the configuration with raised rear rollers improves vehicle stability during the test. The system is operated via dedicated Windows software, a 19-inch LCD Monitor, a multifunction radio remote control, and a standard A4 color printer.
