A222 Tilting Back is the Corghi automatic tyre changer designed to simplify tyre mounting and demounting operations on passenger cars, SUVs, light commercial vehicles and motorcycles. Available in single-speed or 2V dual-speedversions, it is also offered in the TI version with integrated tubeless inflation system.

The machine integrates a mounting head arm with simultaneous lifting and backward movement, a mounting head equipped with protective inserts for alloy wheel protection and a self-centering turntable designed to operate on a wide range of wheels. Thanks to its robust construction and ease of operation, it represents a reliable solution for the daily activities of tyre specialists and workshops.

The high power of the bead breaker, the pull-out pedal unit and the availability of the TI version make A222 Tilting Back a practical and versatile solution for professional tyre service.

Also available in the TI version, equipped with a 16-litre external air tank compliant with current regulations. The tubeless inflation control is separated from the other pedals to reduce the risk of incorrect operation and improve safety.

Features and functions

Mounting head arm

By simply pressing a button, the mounting head arm performs simultaneous lifting and backward movement relative to the wheel while locking both horizontally and vertically. The system also includes spring balancing of the mounting head shaft.

Mounting head with protective inserts

The mounting head features redesigned profiles developed to optimise operation on different wheel types. Interchangeable plastic inserts on contact surfaces help protect alloy wheels during tyre mounting and demounting procedures.

High-power bead breaker

The bead breaker uses a large double-acting cylinder and can be equipped with a special plastic protection to help protect wheels during bead breaking operations.

Pull-out pedal unit

The pedal unit can be easily extracted, facilitating inspection and maintenance operations in the control area and improving accessibility.
