The P4000-EVO is Corghi’s 4-plate brake tester designed for the rapid testing of braking efficiency on passenger cars, light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 metric tons, motorcycles, tricycles, quadricycles, and ATVs. Compliant with the MCTCNet 2 protocol, it offers a versatile solution for inspection centres and repair shops that require fast and reliable testing.
Thanks to its simple and functional mechanical design, the system ensures particularly easy installation, whether as a stand-alone unit or as part of a complete inspection lane. The modular architecture also allows the system to be adapted to different vehicle types using specific accessories and dedicated software licenses.
The test bench is equipped with a radio remote control for full management of test procedures and for transmitting the pedal force or brake lever force. The four galvanized plates with a high coefficient of friction enable accurate measurements of braking force while maintaining simple and intuitive operation for the operator.
